Zombies are fictional undead corpses in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

Description[]

In Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, there are many different types of zombies, namely:

  • Rednecks, specifically the bald, shirtless redneck who is also thought to be Leatherface.
  • Pedestrians that are modified to look like zombies.
  • Strange alien creatures that resemble zombified crabs.

Many people claimed that the player can find zombies in the countryside areas of GTA San Andreas. A business called Zombotech is found near downtown San Fierro. In San Andreas, zombie-like pedestrians can be created, if the player lures a pedestrian into a Pay 'n' Spray whilst they are getting a car sprayed. The pedestrian in logic will have normal health but will continue to walk even if their HP reaches 0, thus creating a type of zombie in a typical cultural sense.

At the drive-in theater near Fort Carson, there is a movie playing named Zombie Cheerleader Sleepover 5.

There is also a vehicle named Romero owned by one of CJ's girlfriend Katie Zhan. It's name is a reference to an American Canadian filmmaker George A. Romero who is also known as Godfather of the Dead and Father of the Zombie and has made many Zombie movies including Night of the Living Dead and Land of the Dead.
