Standing Vice Point is an Easter egg and a mythical location in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories.

Description[]

Easter Egg[]

In the beginning, it was difficult to exactly discover the real-life inspiration of the Standing Vice Point, but years later, it was found out that the logo largely resembles the Sheraton Hotels and Resorts' logo, a hotel chain.

Myths[]

In the myth hunting community, the building is known as the portal to the Sea Caves. Due to this unique feature, it is frequently visited by myth hunters and players wanting to explore more from the building.

The exploration of the building has led players to the conclusion that the Standing Vice Point has an unused interior and many players have enabled the interior using modifications, but a lot of skeptics refute and claim that the interior is actually a modification itself.

Glitches[]

In GTA Vice City Stories, there's a bug involving a large tree and the wall towards the back of the building. This glitch will cause the player to run through the wall and end up outside of the walled-in area. To do this, the player needs to go to the gate leading down to the beach. When the player is there, they need to locate the biggest tree just north of it. When they find it, they need to run in between the wall and the tree to where the player is facing the wall. If done right they will end up upon the boardwalk.
