Phil's Ghost is a myth in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.
Description
At rare occasions, if Phil Cassidy is killed during the mission The Job, he still calls the player after the mission. Players have brought up the idea that the voice was in fact Phil's ghost. However, these claims are eradicated, as Phil is programmed to call after the mission, irrespective of his status during/after the mission.
Technically, Phil's fate is determinant, but even after the player decides to have Phil eliminated, the aftermath seems vague, as Phil is mentioned and played in the succeeding games in the series, leaving players to ponder about Phil's death in a curious way. However, this seems to be a developer's error that caused skepticism among players.
