The Mass Grave (also known as the Body Bags) is a pit located East from the El Castillo Del Diablo, Bone County, north of the Restricted Area and south of the Verdant Meadows aircraft graveyard in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
Description
The pit, which takes the form of a large round hole, contains six body bags, and a Bobcat truck containing a shovel pickup next to the pit.
The grave could be a place for mafia families to dispose of bodies, as two Sindacco Family thugs (depicted in The Introduction video) are seen in the desert, digging a grave to dispose of a body, although it's one person, not six - possibly indicating that more people were buried there during the events of GTA San Andreas. However, the exact location in which the Sindacco thugs were shown to be digging in The Introduction has been proven to be in a different part of Bone County.
It is likely that the Mass Grave is an Easter Egg made by Rockstar to reference real-life mafias from Las Vegas that dumped bodies in the desert.
The person who could have buried the bodies here is Mary-Beth Maybell, the host of the radio station K-Rose. At one point during one of her broadcasts, she says that she has six husbands, all of whom she has killed and says that they are now "six feet under." There are six body bags in the grave. She also says that she broadcasts from somewhere in Bone County, which is the same location of the mass grave. She also says she drives a truck, which may explain the nearby parked Bobcat.
The Mass Grave could have been the result of a Grave Robber. The ghost town of Las Brujas is extremely close to the gravesite, and the graveyard of Las Brujas contains 6 graves. There are also 6 body bags in the grave.
Players have linked the Mass Grave with Mr. Trenchcoat, the pedestrian found in GTA San Andreas who resembles a serial killer and who is also said to own a Bobcat pickup truck. Some also think the grave is linked with the Grave Robber. And others believe that it is the work of The Creeper, since in the movie he puts his victims in body bags.
Players have also linked the Mass Grave with Area 69 since it's location is near the grave. This could mean that the military could have killed and put some intruders in body bags and dumped them in the hole. Other theories claim the bags are filled with deceased aliens from failed experiments.
