The origin of Killer Bees dates back to the era of GTA III, when they were reported in the local newspaper: The Liberty Tree. Killer Bees were also mentioned by a caller on Chatterbox FM, who warns Lazlo that killer bees must be exterminated or else humanity will face the risk of going extinct within the next few years. For some reasons, it wasn't mentioned in the sequel to the newspaper in Grand Theft Auto IV, but still, the myth is mentioned in the world of Grand Theft Auto IV. People have reported that the Killer Bees may be somewhere around the parks in the city and may be few in number, as compared to the past, further explaining the lack of reports. In-game experts are still determined that their existence is most likely false, as Killer Bees didn't survive in latitudes up north.
