Hoarmont Avenue Church is a religious building that serves as an Easter egg in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.

Description[]

Hoarmont Avenue Church is a place of worship, located on Hoarmont Avenue in Downtown Vice City. The church's architecture is Romanesque in origin. The building wasn't recognized as a church until an internal file search. The internal files of the church are named as churchwall1_door, dt_latin, churchwall1_btm, and churchwall1_top. The church is widely known for its inscription Hostes ad pulverem ferire, written in pig Latin. These words are a reference to 2 Samuel 22:43:

I beat them as fine as the dust of the earth; I pounded and trampled them like mud in the streets.

The Bible, 2 Samuel 22:43
