Grand Theft Auto: Vice City

  • Beelzebub was also mentioned twice in Max Payne, which was released a year prior to that of GTA Vice City. A Beelzebub figure, similar to the Demonic Body, can be found inside the Punchinello manor.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas

  • Also at the gas station in Dillimore, the glass on the window has a label saying "Max Pane - Bullet Proof Glass". This is a reference to the other Rockstar video game, Max Payne.
  • Action figures of Max Payne can be found in Zero's RC Shop.
  • Action figures of Piggsy and James Earl Cash can be found in Zero's RC Shop, referencing 2003 Rockstar game Manhunt.

Grand Theft Auto V

  • The in-game series, Righteous Slaughter, is a parody of the Call of Duty series.
  • Michael says that his first bank heist was in Carcer City, the setting for Manhunt.
  • John Marston, the protagonist of Red Dead Redemption, is seen in a Pisswasser commercial, riding a horse.
  • An artwork of John Marston can be seen on a pedestrian's shirt. (One can be found in the Daddy's Little Girl mission)
  • As part of a treasure hunt even in Grand Theft Auto Online, the player would receive a message on their phone from "vanderlinde@eyefind.info", which is a reference to the character Dutch van der Linde from Red Dead Redemption
