I think that all of you know me, I'm being rollback for a nearly 5 months now, and I was never blocked and I meet all requirements for administrator (I have 750 edits, I'm active for more than 2 months and I have rollback abilities). Yeah, you heard that right. Myth hunter has proved his neglency towards MW a lot (check his GTA Wiki contribution). He also left with the excuse of his exams lasting till the Mid-February, which was acceptable. But look where we are now, 5-6 months and no sign. MythHunter2013 also had the inactive time period of that many months as well and got demoted, I don't see why Myth hunter won't get demoted either. Seeing that some Bcrats are less strict in staff duty matters (opinion, not an insult or anything), I am putting this req up so that the community can get him demoted or maybe not.   • First of all, he is not an awful admin so I don't want to hear any more mudslinging or personal attacks on his character. He has been with the GTA MW for a long time, and has JUST been moved to inactive staff yesterday. The reason why we have that section on the staff page is to give staffers who have lost interest in the wiki a chance to come back into activity, or to resign. If neither of that happens and a couple months go by then the user is to be demoted as a last result. I'm not condoning inactivity, but because he has just been moved to inactive staff, I think the respectable thing to do would to give him some time to decide what he wants to do.   • I see Boomer's point of giving MH due process in hopes of him returning but he has been very inactive. MH is a great user and this doesn't change that. Hello, I am Matt, as most of you know by now, I am going to run for a second time being Patroller, since well my break from here, I just needed to sort some things out.

I feel as if I did do a great deal with my patrolling, but the case was the social went wrong, I've improved on that since of now, and re-justified my wrongs and paying my sorry's to those effected.

Now I am not writing this up and expecting anything great, because I do acknowledge my wrong-doings, but I do please wish for a clean slate, since some of my friends have eagered me into applying once again.

I am sure I meet the criteria and can help in many ways as I did when I was first applied, thanks for your time, just leave a simple Yes or No, and a comment why you have put it.

  • MHM and myself have had some disagreements recently, so I don't want to vote one way or another because it will be biased. However, I do have to say that MHM has a lot of pointsgaming problems (If you look at this contributions, he edited this request's comments about 8 times today... but I don't see any comments by him.) Mantiix has been blocked for 1 day for vandalising a users talk page in retaliation to the recent events that have been happening. It is now being brought forward that he should also be demoted. Before voting, please consider these points:

  1. Mantiix also went onto the GTA Wiki and vandalised several pages. This shows his immaturity and childishness, two things staff members should not have, especially in situations like these.
  2. Mantiix was actually not promoted based on skill, but mainly on his 500 edits (which he was around at the time). It should be noted that most of these edits were gained via Comment Sherlocking.

  • I feel he is too immature for a staff place. Staff members need to have a strong mindset when situations like this occur and I don't feel he has shown he has one by vandalising user pages on both this wiki and GTA Wiki, and by vandalising other pages on the GTA Wiki also.   • In light of recent events, Mantix has shown that he is too immature for his staff position. Vandalizing pages on the GTA Wiki and now vandalizing a user's profile on this wiki demonstrates the numerous rules he has broken. I suggest everyone voting not to be biased because he is your friend but to vote for the good of the community as someone who does this is dangerous to have as a staff member.   • Good day, I am a Staff member on the GTA Wiki. Please allow me to express my view on this matter. I am not entirely up to date with all the incidences that have been happening, but from what I hear some users were exhibiting homophobia towards this user. Like I said, I do not have all the details on the matter, but if a Staff member has been homophobic towards the aforementioned user, I would not personally regard them as a good candidate for a Staff member.   • A few things need to be addressed: Mantix is not perfect and did make a mistake and did stupid things. He has never been in trouble before and I think a warning in addition to his block is sufficient punishment. Also on CNB Jim a known vandal is being considered to be allowed back to edit. Mantix has apologized (even though it is ridiculous) just like Matt apologized. MattMythMaestro - Demotion[]

In recent events, a patroller on this wiki - Matt - was involved in an argument on the chat with another user on the wiki; XXDrewTheDewXx. I wouldn't normally put a staff member up for demotion for a simple argument, but apparently Matt became completely uncivil towards him and attacked Drew's religious beliefs. This is completely unacceptable behavior from any user on this wiki; let alone a staff member. After the assault, he childishly attacked Ali Rocky and others who disapproved of his actions. I understand some of you consider this user as a friend, but when someone's religious beliefs are offended - by a staff member - you have to look past that and for the good of the wiki. Staffers are to uphold the Policy, and when a patroller gets way out of line like this, it makes the entire staff look bad. Boomer8 (talk) 12:27, January 24, 2016 (UTC)

LS11sVaultBoy - Bureaucrat[]

Boomer8 (talk) 02:19, December 30, 2015 (UTC) Hey, I'm VaultBoy and I'm running for bureaucrat (again) today since I've done a lot lately, but also because it is my third anniversary of being here. The last time I applied for bureaucrat I was told that if I showed, and I'm paraphrasing here, that I was passionate about the wiki then I would have a much greater chance of achieving bureaucracy. Therefore, I have spent the last few months editing like crazy to make the wiki look better and just generally do anything I can. I have added numerous new templates, as are now seen on most pages, which are mainly to make the structure and design of the wiki look better. I also have been, and had been before, spending large amounts of my own personal time (how I do it, it takes a while) making the badges system as customized and "cool" as they can be. I then obviously became the first user to reach 5000 on this badges system, but mainly I became the first user in the wiki's history to reach 5000 edits, which is something I am VERY proud of. Another two things that must certainly show I am passionate about the wiki are the facts that I have been here for 3 years now, but also because I managed to get onto the Hall of Fame, along with Sasquatch and Boomer, which surely shows I have done something right.

If I were to become a bureaucrat on the wiki, there would then be three. This is only a good thing because it means that not only will bureaucrat-only decisions be easier with no decisions stuck ending at "yes and no", but I feel that with me on the team it will have all necessary skills to run a myths wiki in full charge of the wiki; Sasquatch is the myths bureau, Boomer is the enforcer of the policy (as said on the HoF), and I would be the one who is all about the structure and organization of the wiki, as I have started to be these past few months.

Finally, I would like to end on the point that I have changed MASSIVELY over the past year, let alone years. We have all made mistakes in the past, but hopefully you guys have noticed that I have changed over time and I have even got from not really liking many users, to having full respect and a liking for them and what they do for the wiki, Ali being a prime example of this. I feel I have now gained the respect of this new community since the "community cleansing" of August 2014 and what I did I feel should be forgotten about and left in the past, because the past is all it is now.

  • Sorry I haven't been active lately I've been incredibly busy. For me it's a resounding YES. I have absolute faith and trust in Vaultboy that he should be the third Bureaucrat of GTA Myths Wiki. Vaultboy has all the skills and know-how on managing and running a wiki and I trust his judgment.

  • I don't believe you are qualified enough. Over half of your edits are just going on comment sections and forum posts saying random things to get your edit count up. Also, edits that you do make to pages aren't really that good, as they are usually just changing a word and they end up just getting reverted by myself and Boomer. For this reason it is a no from me, but keep working and trying to improve and I'm sure you'll be able to reach a position eventually, ask Ali to help you, as I told him the exact same thing and now he is flying fine.
