Grove Street Elegy is a rare glitch in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
Description
The myth is based on a strange and unusual sighting of an Elegy vehicle in Grove Street, Ganton. According to the sighting the elegy, alleged to be driven by the unidentified pedestrian, the driver quickly drove around the place, damaged, then turned back and drove. Critics argue that Elegy is only programmed to spawn in the following places with their respective colors;
- Black Poly (36)
- Anthracite Gray Poly (35)
- Torino Red Pearl (17)
- Concord Blue Poly (11)
- Medium Sapphire Blue Firemist (116)
- Dark Beechwood Poly (113)
- Dark Sapphire Blue Poly (101)
- Medium Gray Poly (92)
However, the counter-argument suggests that the Elegy does spawn in the area and that the Car Thief stole the Elegy that was spawned in the Los Santos due to a glitch. Also, a gamer in 2009 named Jack Reacher on GTA forum described the spawning of elegy in Los Santos. Despite all the positive to negative analysis on the myth, its existence remains in limbo
